Mission San José de Comondú was one of the Jesuit missions established
early in the 1700's in Baja California Sur, Mexico, west of Loreto and
Mission San Javier. This is us in our Sportsmobile-type 4x4 van on
the "road" leading East. It took us all day to travel 52 miles. There
are two extremely remote goat ranches but no cars can travel on this
terrain.
