Chevette Series rules require the same spec-tire for everyone. They're normal everyday rubber winter street tires, Bridgestone Blizzak, no studs.

#54 is Terry, Chevette Series Champion in 2006 & 2008. He is a VERY good driver, calm and smooth. Finishing 3rd behind him should have been all I could hope for.

I would never have gotten past Terry if not for him snagging some deep slush and getting pulled off line. For me, passing Terry for 2nd place was the highlight of my entire weekend.

Passing Trent then too for the win in the last corner was unbelievably lucky.

Bets the hell out of the dirt-track Chevette races I saw in Lafayette, TN. back in the day !!! From 12th to the win, how awsome is that? Great driving, bud. Wish my 84 CS had run that good. Good luck in future races.
