  • are those made in ontario or overseas?

  • @capreolus4 Ontario are made in USA.. Ontario is a American brand

  • Sp5 is Full Flat ground.... The Sp10 is hollow ground.... Full Flat grinds on 1/4 inch think steel blades will always perform better then hollow ground blades... Those logs you battaned were pretty small and green... Battan a 6 inch seasoned log and i guarentee the hollow ground SP10 would bind in the cut.. all my large blades are now flat ground.

  • @rainmechanic Than you for the info....

  • WHAT U KILL TREES YOU PSYCO just kidding but thanks this help me i think ill get sp10.

  • @dagurru1 hehe... Well glad i can help... My personal favorit is the sp5, but it got stolen so I can only use the sp10 atm... (going to bye a new when I get some extra money) But i like the sp 10 more and more every day....

  • One 4 inch tree green or not is not a big deal. Worry about the homeless/starving children and stop worrying about 1 tree. People clear trees all the time. It's life. Down with green peace and PETA!

  • @rainmechanic i own the sp10 and it is not a hollow ground its a partial flat ground. just thought I would let you know.

  • @cowboytgl Who said I wanted to be a "role model"? Get a life dude. I certainly am NOT suggesting to be a "role model" or an educator on you tube. I have a JOB and children of my own. I certainly do not have the time, will or suppose I have the credentials to "educate" anyone. Neither do you! Might I also add...MIND UR FUCKIN BUSINESS?!

  • @shtfprepared yes I think he would agree with NOT chopping down live trees, but its not about having nuts, its about being a role model instead of an ASS! J/S

  • @cowboytgl Im sure he would much less agree with the fact that this guy's chopping down live trees! Im the guy who calls a pig a pig. Sorry if you feel offended. Grow some nuts!

  • @shtfprepared I'm sure nutn wouldn't approve of you using his name in such a rude comment, remember noone is perfect...and life is always a learning experience. instead of bashing, try to post informative, helpful comments

  • @dagurru1 you should check out the sp 50 first.....8 3/4 in blade, full flat grind...great heft in chopping and 1/4 in thick blade splits so well!

  • Good comparison video. Both knives look impressive. I woul love to see how these compare to the kabar large heavy Bowie and a falkniven a2 just for kicks.

  • STOP KILLING TREEESS!!!, you don't need to use live trees to test your knives ! By the way those knives are too much for you dude, by the way you use them you look like a little kid!
