07/28/11 - Part 1/7 - Hopkins County Republican Party Constitution Class 2

Dr. John Cooper, Hopkins County Republican Party, Director of Media Relations opens up thanking everybody for coming. Dr. Cooper then prays for the meeting, leads the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States Flag and leads people in singing Star Spangled Banner. Dr. Cooper speaks about we defending the Constitution like we do the Bible beucase with out the freedom we have in it based on the Bible we don't have anything. Dr. Cooper asks this question, how can out election go to Washington and represent us if they don't know the Constitution. CC Parker, House District 2 Hunt County Coordinator Texas Citizens' Convention For Sovereignty speaks about what her organization is doing standing up againts un-Constitutional mandates being handed down by the State of Texas. Dr. Cooper gets into speaking about the U.S. Constitution and states it's a personal thing and we need to get our country back in touch with the Constitution. CC Paker speaks about Dan Flynn State Representative on the Mark Davis show and didn't stand up strong enough about the VA Cemitaries and removal of Prayer. Dr. Cooper part of his new campaign proposes when he get's into office pass legislation that 8 hours of Continuing Education on the Constitution for every Congressman before they can be seated.
