I make 64 oz of green smoothie in the a.m. and drink throughout the day. It's somewhat thick so I get "full" when I drink a glass. In between, I eat other things - including but not limited to another banana (besides the one in my green smoothie), an avocado, salads, and other veggies. I also drink alkaline water. I'm healing, so I'm heavy on the veggies. I experiment every now and again with acidic fruits to see if I can get them down without having an adverse rxn. So far so good.

my friend, I no how u feel i was in the same situation. I went into a raw food diet for cleansing purposes. Although I had seen a big change in my overall health, after a couple of months into it i started to feel a lot of discomfort. Now im not saying that eating raw foods is bad, but it shouldn't be the only thing to consume.

Steak/meat, eggs, cheese, milk, bread, butter, vegetables, fruits, seeds/grains/nuts, tap water, and whatever else works for you. Let your body direct you for performance, and live, and thrive. It's the truth. Go on your body's good direction, not philosophies contrary to your body's integrity.

I like to keep it simple. 10 persimmons for breakfast. 10oz of baby spinach juiced, and blended with 10 or more bananas for lunch. Dinner, salad of romaine, tomato, avocado, cucumber, sprouts, hemp seeds. Your best bet is to either follow the 80/10/10 diet if your quite athletic, or the hippocrates approach if your less athletic. Also the okinawans live quite long and healthy and they eat some cooked food so don't stress over 100% raw, just eat as much raw as you can.

I would definitely recommend the books Conscious Eating by Dr. Gabriel Cousens and The Sunfood Diet Success System by David Wolfe.

I've been 100% raw for 3 years and I feel like a superhero. There is no diet for everyone because we are all so unique. This is what I typically eat: 1 superfood smoothie for breakfast containing cacao, maca, spirulina, blue-green algae, coconut oil, flax oil, goji berries, jungle peanuts, xylitol/stevia/yacon/honey, medicinal mushrooms and other tonic herbs blended into a warm amazonion herb tea.
Later in the day I'll have blended greens and or a salad with avocado, lots of pumpkin seeds etc.
I've just started this diet and it has had benefits so far. My meals have consisted of: green smoothies (romaine, spinach, kale, cucumbers, celery... mix and match + usually at least 2 bananas, frozen black berries and strawberries, apples, other fruits). Stuff besides GS's include sprouted/soaked almonds, lots of seeds (sunflower, pumpkin), and various other fruits. It's really a learning experience thus far.

@ray34iyf Even though trying to go 100 percent raw didn't work for me so far it sure seems to help me
eat as much raw food as possible. I hope you find the right balance friend.
