79 yr. old Joe fails to get out of the way and gets his leg mangled on the sidelines during Penn State v. Wisconsin game 11/4/06 -------------------- Nov. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Penn State football coach Joe Paterno broke his left leg in a sideline collision with one of his players during a loss at Wisconsin.
An examination in State College, Pennsylvania, found that Paterno, fractured the top of his left shin bone and damaged ligaments in his left knee, the school said in a news release. A decision on whether Paterno needs surgery to repair the injuries has not been made.

Wow, JoePa is unreal. This coming from an Ohio State fan. The only way he's coming off that sideline is if he gets mad at his players and has a heart attack on the spot...a legendary coach. And he actually has a pair, unlike Tressel..

LoL not even an Ohio State fan, so check your assumptions at the door. My dad happens to be an avid PSU fan so I end up watching their games alot. PSU could be doing alot better with the talent pool that comes its way every year. Lets not forget the 4 cupcakes a year that PSU gets to play, so they factor in. I'm not saying JoePa sucks, I'm saying he should of been playing for more National Championships.
