Otherwise, do you believe that the virgin Mary has already risen from the dead? Or how else do you explain the her group appearances?

There's no need Mr sound. We have modern examples of group citings of the virgin Mary appearing. Religious citings of religious figures appearing happen. That doesn't make the appearances people believe they've seen real in the physical sense. People also sometimes have visions of loved ones after they die. These are religious and psychological aspects of the human experience. They don't prove that the people in question actually have now risen from the dead. Sorry.

I'd think that would require a fair bit of interpretation by a leader or two involved though. But then, maybe people did think they saw him as groups have reported seeing the virgin mary even in recent times. The human mind is capable of all kinds of things from what I can tell from other examples in the religion category. I think there could even have been an escalation like one person having a dream, another seeing someone similar looking and so on.

Hey man - sorry for the delay. This is actually the first time I've checked my channel in a few months now. To answer your question, I'm definitely open to there having been group experiences that those involved interpreted as encouters with Jesus "appearing" so to speak - though I wouldn't assume an explicitly physical nature to those experiences. I'm not aware of any reason wy they couldn't have been like the group experiences ppl have of "God's presence" today.

A Civilized conversation about religion. We need more of these, whether we are for, or against. We need more of these... Thanks for the post.

1 Cor 15:2-7 records the earliest apostolic tradition of Jesus death, burial, resurrection and appearances we have. The wording is similar to what we find in the Gospels. The empty tomb is implied in the Greek verb etaphē "was entombed", cf. taphos "sepulchre". Logically, the burial chamber was empty, since the tradition continues with his resurrection from the dead on the third day.
Great video and thanks for exposing the multiple angles to tackle this argument!
