But the really annoying bit is, that is so unnecessary. We used to carry BCF fire extinguishers which did what they said on the tin, namely, extinguish fires. But the halons were deemed to be harming the ozone layer, so now we have to carry these useless AFFF (soapy water) extinguishers which are no doubt effective on a small fire in a waste paper bin, but when it comes to an electrical, or fuel fire; - forget it. So what's the point in carrying them in a rally car?
