Soul Surfer and Jeremiah 29:11

The Spirit of God mentioned Jeremiah 29:11 on Saturday morning. I watched the movie "Soul Surfer" that night and the scripture was quoted in the film. It turns out that four groups of us all watched the movie at the same time. This was not coordinated beforehand.
In this video i talk about some of my observations about the film and what God is saying.

God has used that verse in Jeremiah so many times in my life, I've lost count! Interestingly enough, yesterday I woke up with some fears re the circumstances I'm currently under. Then I go to do my daily devotion....and guess which verse is featured!! how awesome is that!! Haven't seen Soul Surfer but I know the story. Guess I better watch the movie!!

Great review in teaching sir!
My wife and I recently watched this film. It was good, we both enjoyed it. However, the one thing neither of us liked was that whenever they quoted Phil 4:13 they opted to use 'Him' instead of 'Christ'. In a fully secular film, I can understand that... but in a film that was billed and marketed as a 'Christian Family' film... they should've left the Savior in the dialogue.

Wow! My grandaughter has been running around here today and for the past two weeks carrying that book and showing us the pictures, telling us about the book.
