Wow that was weird but awesome :D DIdnt really seem like a J step more of a weird 180 gainer haha.

-a typical gainer is usually a ganier flash or moonkick. my point is that even though you jstep, you dont do any sort of backflip. its more of a sideflip. after taking that jstep keep your body in the same direction of your takeoff and rip that leg through
I see your point. but a "typical gainer" has nothing to do with a flash kick or a moonkick. i kinda can see why you may thing this but for the most part. a person that's really good with gainers. only splits his legs for the fraction of a second it takes to get the "gain" part of the flip in the beginning. a flash kick gainer in itself is a gainer with the kick out.. kinda like a switch gainer in a twisted way. virtually a completely different trick with a different name ya know.

actually, you did more of a sideflip. there was no flashkick in that process, nor was there a moonkick. keep practicing:)

J-step, gainer back-flip. The J-step is just the curved walking motion to get the momentum to do a demented 90 degree gainer back flip.. where your coming up with a Moon kick or a flash kick is beyond me cause neither of them tricks have anything to do with those... Thanks for the comments

LOL be nice.. he corrected himself. It's called a J-step gainer... it's what the name of the trick is called cause you form a J with your lead foot to get the gainer momentum.. making it look like a gainer 180 when it's like a gainer 90 haha
