From http://BladeBlaze.com. As a player steps up to a play, turnover transition can happen quick, a forward to backwards cross over transition is a must.
As a player is moving forward, they are to rotate upper body towards play (never your back, you will loose vision of the play) maintain focus on what is going on, and at the same time a sliding sideways stop backwards.
As you are moving backwards, sideways/laterial, inside skate leads, outside skate pushes off, cross over in front of body, try to land heal towards the direction back (90 degrees from where you pushed off) and make sure you rotate your back towards the direction you are going at the same time, or you will become tangle.
The one push off cross over is essential, and the timing must be perfect. These kids try there best!
so cute lol
