I meant to spell song.
As you can tell by the user name I am from the Lone Star country, Liberia. I was born in '79 and was given the nickname Sonny Okosun. I was a kid and I enjoyed all of the legend's classics. I had an eternal understanding of the music's content, but I didn't make the connection to why my parents would nickname me after this great man until now. A powerful speaker without the overwelming tremor to the ear, soulful to the everyday sobs of what Africa was facing-his music...

Yes, as reported in the Guardian newspaper of Monday May 26 2008, Pastor and Evangelist Sonny Okosun went on to be with the Lord on Sunday May 25, 2008. May his gentle soul find eternal rest.
