Some more footage of our time at PAX East 2011 with a look at the independent game called "Dyad". This game caught our attention not only because of its unique Shooter/Racing/Puzzle hybrid gameplay, but also because of the sweet homemade motion rig game creator Shaun McGrath created out of scrap metal, plywood and a go-cart motor!
Dyad comes out for the Playstation Network later this year. Instructions to creator your own motion rig can be found here - http://www.dyadgame.com/TheMachine/

Homemade motion-control...now THAT is indy gaming! ^.^
That's the sort of thing that makes the rest of us wish we could have gone to PAX East.
The game itself looks pretty cool; It reminds me of an old Playstation 1 game called, "N2O: Nitrous Oxide"...was very colorful (psychedelic, really) and used that same perspective. Also brought to mind arcade-style games like Tempest X/Tempest 2000.
Anyway, thanks for posting for your fellow gamers. Good stuff!
