The LED lighting is an interesting idea. One that I hadn't really considered.

It's better for the environment to use the dishwasher. It uses less water. (As long as it's energy star)

Since she said it's energy star she is wasting water washing buy hand. A full load of dishes with the dry cycle off iis better for the environment.
