I remember cheering myself hoarse in 1990 when she defeated Clayton "If a woman is raped, they should just lay back and enjoy it" Williams in the Texas governor's race. A great lady who overcame a lot of adversity in her life. Even her adversaries respected her (well, except maybe Clayton Williams). RIP Ann Richards.

I dont agree with Richards at all, keep in mind, but she tells it like it is, and she NEVER pretends to be something she isnt, like "Tea Party" Bachmann...RIP Geraldine Ferraro.

This is my role model! I love her!! She sent me a MySpace message two weeks before she passed away!! I love her!!!!!! Oh, and we share the same birthday..R.I.P. Ann Richards.. You would have been a KICK ASS President!
