Though all prayers and thoughts to the family of the miners

  • Thank you for giving the ultimate gift, your life for our comfort. May God comfort your family as you are with God now.

  • 29 miners also perished in New Zealand on Nov 19, 2020, at the Pike River Mine. This is a tribute song to all the brave miners in the world, sung through the story of 17 year old victim Joseph ....

  • @bestposted nah 17 to 62 - that was the 29 miners in New Zealand :(

  • actually aged 17 to 62

  • Good song, check out "Three feet down and dirty" <- Its very good also.

  • This is a very moving and heart felt reaction to the unnecessary loss of 29 coal miners. We can only hope that the MSHA, state mine safety and health agencies, and the public will come together to demand an end to unsafe mining practices. There is a song about another mining disaster, Bone and blood are the price of coal. That is a price far too. Let us end the political squabbles, establish and enforce the needed standards to protect the miners no mater which party is in power in Washington.
