awesome man! im a music ed major in college too. just a little something i do when i play this, and its just a preference, is that in the fp sections when you play all the soft note with the left, i double the left when it gets to the 32nd notes, so it would be like RLL RLL RLL, accenting the right, but like i said thats just my preference, it sounds great your way as well, good job!
Try to have your drum perfectly flat. It'll lead to more consistancy in your two hands. Also, where you're doing the short roles as buzz roles, Maybe try to do them as a quick five or seven as long as you can clearly keep them seperated. Great dynamic expression and range though.
Any reason you played the opening phrase with one hand?
