"Hi there, boys and girls, I'm Jimmy Carl Black and I'm the Indian of the group!"
-
This is brilliant!
I've not heard the Doc's music since 'Corpses of Foreign Wars' but he's still got it!

@isthereanythingicanu that is tight,,doc is worth his weight in gold ...all about the RAKE hope i can find that vid.

"Better than the original" -- you mean there's an EVEN WORSE version of this hopeless song?!
-
Jimmy's "Life Is Short Pow Wow Hard" shirt temporarily resides at my house, as after he passed (RIP), it was given to Doc Chad, he stayed with me for a few days earlier this summer and forgot it. DON'T WORRY, it will be back in Doc's hands very shortly. Check out "Doc Chad and his electric rake" if you would like to see him busting out the rake, about halfway through, he hands it off to me, and I rake my face. Good times !
Can someone help me? Who are these guys and do they have anything to do with Captain Beefheart?

This is Eugene Chadbourne, Jimmy Carl Black & Brian Jackson.
Jimmy was the original drummer for The MOI. Jimmy was also good friends with Captain Beefheart. Beefheart drew a picture of a jack rabbit & Jimmy, and told him it was Jack and Jim. Years later when Eugene & Jimmy decided to tour they took on these names. They covered many Beefheart songs also including Click Clack, The Dust Blows Forward & Plastic Factory.
