Type in her name on Wikipedia and it gives a good account of her life and career. She had a troubled personal life which eventually bled through to wind up being seen in front of the camera.....one can only wonder if she had been able to rein in her problems, how and where would she have gone in her career, had it not been for her auto accident.

She was a absolute fox, what a shame for her to have left at such a young age. She was a very bright star.

I've noticed that, in the days of the overwhelmingly large Vizmo screen, Jessica Savitch's updates nearly always ended with the camera zooming in on her. As far as I can tell, no one else got this over-the-top "glamour shot" treatment!
