  • Look folks, I am black and over 50, born in Mississippi in the 1950s. I know what a real racist is, and it is not Frank Sinatra. Frank went out on the limb for black entertainers when he clearly did not have too. He stuck up for and stood by Sammy. That's all I need to know. Some of you young folks will never live up his or Sammy's commitments to some kine of social justice, that is, if you are even trying.

  • frank sinatra was not a racist..frank himself dealt with discrimination himself growing up.. so he knew how it felt...and it was because of him sammy davis was able to not only perform but actually eat and stay in most segregated hotels and restuarants. youre not a moron for saying hes racist, youre just uninformed. when u know better..u do better. stay blessed all of u

  • Hey I like that white 1982 pontiac parisien in the back there....hey who's that old guy with the weird silver hair?? He looks scary....is he from russia?

  • @floydw2k I agree. I'm in my mid 30's. I never experienced what the older generation did but my parents and grandparents are from that generation. I remember hearing about Frank sticking up for Sammy back in the 80's growing up and what he did for black entertainers.

I've experienced racism numerous times myself but I don't know why some younger people take it for granted. As in to humor it. I think they'd rather just see it go away. There's too many remnants left over I guess.

  • @mikelheron20 Black.

  • @airjor1 And what race do you think I am?

  • @mikelheron20 Shut the hell up! you filthy racisit!

  • @airjor1 People like you always like to make something out of nothing. It says more about you than the person you attack. It was an innocent term of affection.

  • @rudegyaloving What a moronic comment. It was a term of affection. Do you also condemn Don MacLean "them good old boys drinking whisky and rye"?

  • wow talk about gurding the mafia's boy he had to thugs come out make sure it was clear then one open the door and you think he really was something most people knew about his mob tires and the fact he was so good to sammy bullshit just to get black people to think he was a good guy when he was not check out the godfather the dead horses in the bed well some guy would not let him star in a movie so they cut the horses head off since i heard that frank can rotten in hell where he belongs fuck him

  • @airjor1 You got that totally wrong. Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. were closest friends - have you ever seen their Rat Pack shows? This "boy" thing has absolutely nothing to do with any kind of racism. Sammy was so beyond that and Sinatra and Dean Martin as well. You should listen to what Sammy called Dean ;-) Please don't tell other people to grow up if you do not even know the circumstances. This feeling of friendship was exactly why the people loved the Rat Pack.

  • Airjor1 shut the tuck up he did mean it in a racial bad way if u think so ur the ignorant one him and sammie were great friends
