Utility company Pepco is teaming up with the Chevy Volt to test the effects of charging stations on Washington DC's electric grid. Clean Skies News talks to specialists and takes the new electric vehicle out for a spin.
the only problems with the chevy volt is the driver dashboard. SOME SIMPLE DIALS WOULD BE NICE. THEY COULD HAVE PUT SOME SIMPLE ANIMATED GUAGES LIKE A NORMAL CAR HAS ON THE SCREEN. BIT TOO COMPLECATED FOR ME.
Nice reporting, the Volt should have a distinct advantage on the competition with it's range extension. Watch for other types of range extenders, such as pull behind trailers with either battery packs or natural gas generators.
