Abdullah Yusuf Azzam: Bakat Ayni (My Eyes Wept) Beautiful Nasheed

As-Salaamu Alaikum,

Powerful Nasheed, written by Abdullah Yusuf Azzam, then made into a famous nasheed, not sure who sings it.

Translation:

My eyes wept over - the parting,
Take me to the land of Jihad and then bid me farewell.
I remembered the Jihad so my tears overflowed,
And my eye awoke although - it was restrained by humiliation. (x2)

I love the battle, but its mountains have tumbled.
I love the places of combat. Desist from me.
I speak to my soul; deprive it of its desires (subhanAllah)
I train it upon penetrating death.

My eyes wept over - the parting,
Take me to the land of Jihad and then bid me farewell.
I remembered the Jihad so my tears overflowed,
And my eye awoke although - it was restrained by humiliation.

So O Lord of all slaves, Ya ilaahi,
Save me from meeting death,
While I am upon fragranced bedspreads,
However I ask you, to be killed beneath the fortresses

And I am certain that -
the people will write my request to be from madness
May Allah curse the abstention (from Jihad) and whoever takes to its path,
And also every disappointing, wretched betrayer.

For every love for other than Allah,
Is a mirage, indeed from madness.
So apologies and excuse me!

It's always the way of the sword with you isn't it, oh Muslims. Truly it is you who are Kaffir. Isa said, those who live by the sword shall soon fall on it. @SonOfTheFortress No my friend, we fight oppression caused by the "kaffir", kaffirs kill 100s of thousands of innocent for what? oil! la illa ha illa la, pastors n priest corrupted the book of Allah (Swt). @SonOfTheFortress So your saying the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan is not proof enough? Your saying the bible has never changed once? How can a book of God be changed a weak Man? Read the Qur'an in english and all the proof is there including the bible.

What does Iraq have to do with the validity of the Qu'ran? Where is the logical progression. The english Qu'ran is clearly error. If I read Arabic as you, would it be any better? How can it be the speech of Allah?

@SonOfTheFortress You say the way with us is with the sword, i explained to you it is not, the way with you is with invasion if innocent country and you seem to shy away from it, typical. The bible is in clear error not the Qur'an, the arabic is the best form to understand it, english is not so good as some arabic words cant be translated. How is it in clear error?

@SonOfTheFortress U can do even your own research. So many people are converting to islam in the west. Just type muslim convert in youtube and see how many people are converting to islam on a daily basis. From america to japan. Here in the Netherlands we have atleast a couple people converting to islam monthly.

Just like Allah states in the quran:

"They intend to put out the light of Allah with their mouths but Allah will complete His Light even though the unbelievers may detest." 61:8

Not one sword has set foot on malaysia or indonesia but Indonesia is the largest Muslim country by population. Islam has spread there only by simple muslim traders. Imagine that.

@SonOfTheFortress They use to call the companions of the prophet muhammad (may gods peace and blessings be upon him) Fighters at daytime & Monks at night. At daytime they fought for justice. And in the nights they were in prayer all night. They are our role models. Look for example into the life of the companion Khalid bin waleed. The enemy use to try poisoning him by puttin poison in his water. He drank the water by saying " Bismillah " in the name of Allah/God. He was never harmed.

@SonOfTheFortress These Anasheed just motivate and inspire us muslims to strive for the paradise by fighting against the nafs (your desires/temptations ) and fight against those who lie about us by telling out the truth to the people. And fight against those who occupy our countries with our swords if we must.
