On the one hand I applaud their ingenuity, but there are also some features of this location that lean strongly toward being an exploit. I still have some mixed feelings about it because I do think that this was damn sneaky and smart of them, but I'm leaning toward exploit for these reasons:

a.) The ability to see the surrounding area perfectly.
b.) Others can not see you so long as you remain behind the "wall" of leaves that are visible from outside
c.) You can not be hit by spells or other means if you walk away from the ledge (range & line of sight).
d.) It is fairly difficult to reach the location, as you can see.. this would be a perk if not for the other issues

They also had two res kisks (like small statues) in there, so when you did manage to get one they would simply pop back out and be buffed up by their buddies.

Now with all of that has been said, it was very easy to avoid the location once you knew that the attackers were in there. They could jump out at any time, of course, but nothing said that you had to go close to the area. Granted, you learned about the area by getting ranged attacks bombed on you as you ran by, but that in itself isn't a problem.

So like I said, though I'm leaning toward exploit I have some mixed feelings about the location.
