Lol Ashura (SaGa 2 DS)

I only recorded this because of how lulzy this is.If this is possible, I can't believe anyone thinks this guy is hard...

Game is SaGa 2 Hihou Densetsu for the DS, a remake of FInal Fantasy Legend 2 on the original Game Boy. Translation Patch by Crimson Nocturnal.

ashura and mask both look stupid in the remake

@Namegoesthere i think it is because im used to the original. but don't forget. when drawing a mouth on a persons belly. when its a black and white drawing. looks alot better then a big 3d green and purple thing. as for mask he just looks like a thug. and that hammer is ridiculous. ill be honest. with what i believe. and how much ive enjoyed it. this isnt a scratch on the original.

@masonlebourn Yeah I agree that there was no way that Ashura was going to look as badass as the original, but they still did a damn good job, and I prefer this Ashura design to Saga 1 WSC Ashura.

As for Mask's Hammer. Trust me, it's even more jarring to see Espers/Mutants wielding that hammer. Or Kai for that matter.

@Namegoesthere the problem then i guess. would be that they over vamped the game. making it to take a step back instead of forwards. i agree with revamping but to much let it down

@masonlebourn I still think the remake is better in every way. Not everything's perfect, but some of the (albeit minor) gameplay changes make the original, or even the neoFFL2 hack, feel unplayable.

SaGa 2's Ashura was never that hard, especially if you were expecting anything like SaGa 1's Ashura.

@Namegoesthere I've found that there are some things that I felt the original did better, and some things that the remake did better. I love the original game - one of my all time favorites. I don't see this as a replacement for the original, but a supplement to it. It is great to revisit the Final Fantasy Legend 2 world and see it in a new way, but as much as I enjoy this version I still enjoy the original just as much as ever. To me, it's not unplayable.
