This program emphasized their strengths like their ice coverage, running edges, and fluid handholds. This program and Memorial Requiem was IMO, an improvement over their style when they were being coached by Linichuk (in 97 and 98, they were coached by Tarasova).

An excellent exhibition piece, great entertainment . Technically, lame. Lots od arm movements, little movements of the feet, no long edges. Awful.

I guess we disagree (which is fine of course). I didn't particularly find this FD entertaining but I loved the long edges, the fluid handholds, and how they emphasized difficult choreography rather than footwork. I thought it was clearly the most difficult FD that year. I found the other top couples' programs to be a little too open in the handholds.

Absolutely stunning. It is a shame they didnt skate it this well at Worlds with some mistakes. It was still great at Worlds and deserved to win probably, but nowhere near what they did here at Europeans.
