The Read India Movement

Although more than 94% of children are enrolled in school, almost half cannot read or write even in fifth grade. An estimated 60 million children are at risk of growing up illiterate. Pratham, the largest education non-profit in India, has taken the call to free them from illiteracy by 2010.
