Over time, George Foxs publications have found that his readers use the web and print magazines in different ways. In general they will typically use the magazine and it's archived articles for general information, when they're not sure what they want to know. But will use the web, Google, etc. when they have a specific question, and to make decisions, for example; about equipment purchases. His company needs to be able to provide for both inclinations. That is, have the targeted information capability as well as the more general info that a magazine like his would normally traffic in.
As in B to B, the more targeted the media the more this applies. In George's case the magazines he runs are targeted to high technology B to B users. Two of his publications are Wireless Design And Development and Pharmaceutical Processing.
