The upper Avon in Wiltshire was the famed stamping ground of purists fly fishermen such as Frank Sawyer and Oliver Kite. The area where upstream nymph fishing was developed. A place where rich anglers need to die to create opportunities for yet more rich anglers to take over. And a place where Graeme Pullen and Phill Williams get special permission to float fish with maggots as a one off concession.

  • Wow, does someone has some sunglasses for me, that sweater and cap!!

But apart from that, nice video!

  • Well what surprised me was a very experienced angler wearing HI VIZ yellow on a river bank, surely Graham you should be trying to blend in with the background ?

Also why would you be using a fixed spool reel for trotting when a centre pin would be much more appropriate and efficient.

  • great video, thanks for taking the time to make it
