  • Nice Job!! I live up here in Tacoma. Love those Ferries. Can't wait to ride one again. I would really like to take the one from Seattle to the San Juan Islands someday.

  • What were the two Ferries between Mukilteo and Clinton, Whidbey Island before they were replaced by the MV Kittitas and MV Cathlamet? I remember ones like the Ilahee and Klikitat. There became so many cars they needed more space and retired or removed them. First they were single deck and then modified double deck. Now (2010) when I last went they were over crowded and unbelievable lines.

  • Wonderful tribute to some awesome old boats!! My grandfather worked for WSF for 35 years and he said that he likes nothin more then Piloting these 4 particular boats

  • Wonderful tribute to some awesome old boats!!

  • Thanks for a look at these grand old ladies of the inland waterway! I rode them all on Puget Sound in their heyday (I now live near San Francisco where once all 4 plowed across San Francisco Bay between 1927 and 1940: Nisqually was the Mendocino, Quinalt was the Redwood Empire, Klickitat was the Stockton, and Illahee was the Lake Tahoe. We will miss them!
