Fly fishing the lower laguna madre for redfish is always a blast. The red tide seems to be on its way out and the water temperature is slowly dropping. The fish have plenty of oxygenated water for healthy runs that will have you in the backing before you know it. November is now over and December is looking like it will shape up to be another beautiful time on the flats. Time to check the waders for leaks because there will be little stopping us from getting in on the action. Red tide, cold fronts, stingrays? No worries! Get out on the water and may your trip have a few "First" as well.
