Cedar Waxwings are common and are often in flocks. Listen to their high-pitched quavering sounds.

  • The fat one has its feathers fluffed out. These birds are certainly Cedar Waxwings. Bohemian Waxwings have a rusty color under the tail and have a gray belly. In this video, you can hear the sounds which are indicative of Cedar Waxwings.

  • I came upon a flock of about 10 yesterday that had hit a window on a city street. Two were still alive and I picked them up and moved them off the sidewalk. Very, very sad.
