  • @juanjillocr Decision speed, up to which it should be possible to abort a take-off and stop safely within the remaining runway length

  • @FinFlight1 thanks man!!

  • @juanjillocr In case of engine failure after V1 speed the takeoff will be performed normally. But if engine failure happens before V1 the takeoff will be rejected. So the V1 speed tells the pilots if something happens before V1 there is still enough runway to stop the aircraft safely.

  • @hamzashakir hey man, what "V1" stands for? I mean, looks like is a GO for take off, but what it means?

  • a330 4 ever

  • @The10diamonds Especially with the left hand from the Captain's side.

  • @hamzashakir 737NG says it too

  • @hamzashakir :P and the retard retard. dont forget the engine spool up as well :P

  • 0:57 Love it when Airbus planes say V1. Boeing can't compete.

  • awsome sound
