So let me get this straight. In England, razor sharp swords and battle axes are perfectly fine, but two sticks linked by a chain are too violent to be shown. OK.

I'm going to take an educated guess and say the UK got robbed of the "Chuck Duel"? That to me is literally top 5 moments in the whole movie..lol

Well, I guess you guys got never before "seen" scenes as a consolation prize.

Censors are fucking idiots... they took out nunchakus scenes for considering that weapon too violent but they included instead more violent scenes that are not even included in the all world version. I had never seen those scenes with April taking down the foot soldiers and Leonardo fighting more fiercely with his katana blades, that was awesome.

There's another Version of this that Mikey says what a joke instead of Spaz and they skipped the dialouge after that and went straight to "The only thing safe in the woods would be the trees

@VigilanteNighthawk Even the cartoon show got censored a lot when it came to Mikes nunchucks.

@VigilanteNighthawk I know this comment comes late, but yeah, apparently nunchucks were too violent back then. That doesn't make sense. It's just simple math, Blades will do bad damage, you cut someone's head off if you want, but nunchucks can at best break bones.

@VigilanteNighthawk Was too violent. The BBFC (the British version of the MPAA) were pretty much a bunch of total spazs in the years before 2001 and would edit out footage from movies or ban them out right (like the first three Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies) It wasn't until 2001 when the BBFC was being run by someone else that banned movies were getting released and previously edited movies were being released unedited.
