Workstation has several more advanced features like support for creating multi-tiered app teams, advanced networking with DHCP and 10 virtual switches, record and replay, etc.
I really depends what you want to do with it. If you're just a casual user, the free products are good. But if you want to step it up, Workstation/Fusion are best for hosted virtualization.

Dude, you should make the installation unattended, shaves off another 15-30 seconds of user input. Or maybe try XPE, there's less to be installed with XPE, so faster installation/boottime.
Back in 2007 this was blazing fast, otherwise, awesome demo!

don't think this is fake but can are you using the free version VSXi? I'm looking to do the same kind of thing I think. Also does VSXi recognise IDE and SATA drives?

Both the ISO and virtual disk were in RAM drives.

I dont understant are you selling or using?
I used ram drives and iram for hdd with the small iso I nlited, it has everything for brousing, this was for my friends mostly, with new gear I can cut the time by atleast another min.
