  • Total garbage! I never missed an episode! This was the worse...

  • @frat28 Agreed! As much as I love this show and still do. Back then you know the network knew they were ending the show and this is the ending we get. Luckily the reunion movies came along years later to give proper closure to this and Bionic Woman.

  • WOW! I'm a SMDM fan, but the last episode of this iconic series is a ruddy piece of garbage! So let me get this straight; We've gone from Day of the Robot, Seven Million Dollar Man. Secret of Bigfoot, Return of Bigfoot, The Bionic Woman and the Fembots to THIS finale!!! Are you kidding me?? Glen Larson, and Harve Bennett what were you and the writers smoking the week this was being filmed?? I can't HATE anymore on this episode. I'm still a series fan.

  • @jodmackster Could not agree more, that was an utter dissapointment for a finale. Glen Larson was really only involved in the 2nd 2 pilot movies. A man named Allan Balter was running it in the final 5th season. Not sure where his head was on this though, LOL! Seems like they were just trying to finish out the series at this point. Season 5 had good ones in the beginning but also some slow mediocre, low bionic action and boring episodes. But this finale, boring story and very little bionic action

  • @videozfann They basically knew the end was coming. The writers were low on ideas and ABC had the quota of episodes needed for a nice syndication deal. Lee was anxious to move on as was Lindsay Wagner during her final year. The bionic phenomena had run its course but it was a good run. In a way, it was a good thing they didn't a finale because it would have taken away from the bionic reunion movies ten years later.

  • @HerrEllsworth of course they knew the end was coming, everybody knew season 5 was the finale from the start. It was like let us just do episodes to finish out the season quality storie sor not, hell we did not even get that with the hulk. Luckily we got the reunion movies for a proper close as well as the hulk reunion movies which were a close but not a good one and left the Mcghee story line open. Colt Seavers came along over 3 years later and Majors already had the look.

  • @jodmackster Hey, just be glad Martin Caidin didn't have any serious influence here. For a finale, he wanted Steve Austin bumped off and replaced by Barney Hiller ($7 million dollar man, whom he always for the lead role).

  • Amazing how much he looks like Colt Seavers in this episode.

  • even with the fake german getup Steve still the man

  • Can anyone say" The Spy Who Loved Me?" LOL Roger Moore and Barbara Bach should ask for royalties!!
