  • wow. having seen the who play this live and meeting Entwistle afterwards, i am impressed with this version. is it on itunes?

  • Thanks for the comment and the compliment to the band on the cover!

Unfortunately it's not, but hopefully a record label will become interested in approaching the band to release their live material either on disc or as downloads. American Beat Records has been reissuing Artful Dodger's Columbia Records material, talk to them, maybe they would be willing to put some live material as bonus tracks...

  • who write this song really...???????????

  • Yes, the song was written by Who guitarist/songwriter Pete Townshend. It appears on the Who's 1965 debut "My Generation". It's been covered by numerous groups over the years, and served as an anthem to the English Mod movement in the 1960's.

  • Going through as many 'Kids' versions that I can find. I LOVE this one!!! I could listen to this over and over...Cheers guys.

  • Thanks for the comment!

I think they did a really good job with the song too. To be honest, I wish I would have come up with a better idea, such as MusicMike's stuff. Alas, I don't like being on camera...

I did have an earlier concept with The Who on video but AD on audio. But then I figured I would probably have a few Who fans hunting me down if I went that route - LOL!

  • I concur 100%!

The Who's version is great, but this really is better, making it one of the best covers ever.
