  • joe henderson kills it

  • A fantastic performance by tenor sax legend Joe Henderson, avant-garde pianist Steve Kuhn, bassist Steve Swallow, and drummer/leader Pete La Roca (now Pete Sims). Henderson and Kuhn solo magnificently as Swallow and La Roca pour on the heat, the torrential rain, and lightning. You can tell the rhythm section has played together a great deal.
