  • I Talked a buddy of mine into getting a gripper as soon as i found out he got his sent him this vid. Thank you jedd!

  • @hacker101c Thanks man. I appreciate the referral. Please let him know as well that I am coming out with a new DVD on Grippers as well. It will really help him out a lot.

  • dang, watched the vid, learning the thumb setup allowed me to crush the 2.5 which had previously escaped me

  • @AlexDboSprinklz - Hey brother. Glad it helped. I know my shit. You should check out my site, TheGripAuthority d o t com - I have tons of insider info I can show you!

  • I've been hopping back and forth between your videos and Paul Knight's how-to vids. I like the slight differences in style, and I've picked up some great info. But my hands are a bit smaller than both of yours.

Any recommendations for setting with slightly smaller hands (specifically shorter fingers)? I've worked my way up to the 1.5 with a CC set.

  • @MuggsisGune - I would strive to get your first two fingers on there and then not worry about the last two. Hiopefully you can get the first three on there well, but definitely the first two. I hope this helps. The credit card set is not AWESOME for smaller handed dudes.

  • Hi Jedd. Thanks for this video, i have used it to show others how to set grippers. Keep it up man!

    sincerely

  • @JeddJohnson I just wanted to say thanks a lot for the advice. I've combined your 2-finger set idea with some pinch-grip training, and it's a lot easier for me to set the CoCs now. I was able to close the #2 without a CC set for 2 reps today. I can use the 2-finger set to establish a hold, and the gripper is soft enough there to close into a 3-finger set. The extra thumb strength helps me keep it farther up in my hand, too.

Still a long way to go for the #3, but it's getting closer everyday.

  • Great Jedd! A good tutorial! ; )

  • Ver good demonstartion Jedd. Very simple to understand and I did actually learn something about handle placement. The inside handle sitting lower in my hand than the outside handle. I am going to go close a CoC #4 now CCS of coarse.
