does the black can sport tuned motor blow the TEU-101BK esc supplied with the kit

@theoriginalafroninja ... the sport tuned motor is as far as you can go with the TEU-101BK esc according to Tamiya. I've run that combination myself with no problems.

40mph my arse. these can do 20mph tops with the gear ratio's changed.

@e10ist .... this video's boring me now (sigh). In case it wasn't clear, I meant that a TT-01 (or HPI E10 etc.) could do 40mph if you went hardcore - brushless, no limit esc, 8.4v - that sort of thing. As you said, you can get 20mph out of the standard silver mabuchi rs-540 motor and a slightly longer gear ratio.

hey man can i fit any body from hpi for 1/10 scale on any 1/10 scale rc car
damanisdakila 1 year ago
@damanisdakila ... As a general rule, you should be able to fit most 1/10 shells to 1/10 chassis'. However, there are two body widths, 190mm and 200mm and some short chassis'/shells. An example of a short chassis is Tamiya M series. The TT01 is 190mm wide. Most bodyshells will tell you the wheelbase, this and the width are the vital measurements.
HPI Racing's electric on-road 190mm 1/10 bodyshells go straight on a TT-01 etc. (after making new mounting holes.)
