Here's a quick video showing some of the stuff I carry on a snowshoe hike. I change gear frequently but here's a little gear porn of what I happened to carry with me on this hike.

Great video Jason!

We use the MSR Denali classics. They have a pair of sawtooth blades along the sides that allow us to traverse sideways across a slope.

Hey Bill,

The Denalis are great snowshoes. I love those blades for lateral traction. I really want the new Tubbs Flex Alps that have the same feature plus all the other features I love about Tubbs snowshoes. I can't spend the money right now but when I can, I'm going to treat myself to a pair. Tubbs makes a mean snowshoe!
