Baby Don't You Do It Moan (Marvin Gaye/Band/Who cover)

Here's one straight from the gut.

I don't know how this happened, I was actually having a great night and in a really great mood, and this is what came out. Sometimes picking up the guitar and laying something down 'n' dirty down is my way of smiling.

I'd been playing around with is Marvin Gaye tune, , which you may know from The Who's "Live At Leeds" album or The Band's "the Last Waltz", for a few days, and when I got home at 1 AM and wasn't quite ready to go to bed I picked up the guitar and got this down in 2 takes.

H I don't know that I've ever been happier with something recorded in so few takes and with no audio processing or edits to polish it up... this one's pure & uncut, totally unadulterated.

@prshortpants THanks, yeah, I hope I'm not tempting fate by saying this, but I've been pretty pleased with the response. 2 years on YT, 25 videos, over 150,000 collective views, and I've gotten maybe 8 negative comments in that whole time. Don't know what to chalk it up to, but I'm thankful for it. My whole YouTube experience has been very encouraging.

Wow totally impressed and feeling the soul of this jam bud! :-) Some of the best songs are the ones when you just feel it and it comes out of thin air and it sure seems like you just done and did that!:-)
