I didn't understand that, "We'll put it in the other tunnel for the time being." What's the point of doing that? If they're trying to re-open it as a train line, why would anyone want to be re-building a tunnelt that wouldn't belong to the railways? What's the point of this??? I'm totally lost!!
this public demonstration of common sense seems to have unfortunatly lost mo-mentuem and the power cable will probably stay ,as it would be very coslty to convert the main tunnel back to railuse
they should never have closed the DC woodhead route in the first place, just re rigged it to 25kv AC

This is a key transport corridor. We know this! We need it open as a double track Berne Gauge railway electrified at 25kv ac now!!
