Great plant but the scene where Audrey dies is simply emotionless.

Is that foam latex, just foam or something totally different? And for the tentacles/vines, are they moved by fishing line on the outside or some mechanism inside? sorry for all the questions and feel free to ignore them. I'm doing an alien sci-fi movie and we've got some tentacles made, but I'm always interested in how people pull this stuff off.
