May 25th, 2008 (No audio; sorry, had to re-upload this one)
Another clip for my list of awesome 21st century twisters. The security cameras in this bank captured the complete chaos as the tornado struck. There are four angles, each with two different versions. The first clips are at normal speed, and the ones after are at a considerably reduced speed so you can see it in detail. This is probably what people would experience in their houses the moment an EF-5 tornado passes through.
This bank was completely leveled.

In the first clip you can see little red and green lights on the computer equipment still lit up as the tornado hits. It seems like the power stayed on for quite awhile.

I was at my cousin's graduation in a big auditorium in Dubuque, Iowa when this happened.. I was terrified, because it was in the same county, luckily we were ok. It was still a sad, sad day for those people in Parkersburg, though..

These videos werent shown on weather channel, but they were shown on KCCI channel 8 news in Iowa, so we got to see all the local footage. The most famous footage is probably that girl who captured the F5 tornado from her house on her cell phone.

Cameras will prob be set up same as burgular alarms they have back up battery so if the power is cut they still function. Security harware would be pointless if you could just switch them off outside before you went in.
