I have a 1972 Chevy Caprice Kingswood Estate wagon and mine too has all manual windows save for the back gate window, which is electric. Power windows @ doors were options. I love these old wood-grained station wagons of the 60s-70s.

Wagons are very cool,i believe this is a 390 2 bbl. I don't think the 390 4 bbl were available in the LTD that year. Growing up we had the twin to your wagon,it was a 9 passenger with the fold down 3rd seat.

Thanks for the video. Takes me back. My father bought one new and we grew up in it. It had the 429 2bl though. On the wheel covers, I seem to remember the ones you have as the same ones which came stock. Take care.

It's a FREAKING !!! station wagon for crying out loud!!

youre lucky to have manual windows... i have a LTD sedan 69 and all but the front passenger side windows have frozen so i have to take all the doors apart and replace all four motors.

Did you mention that the wheel covers were incorrect for a 1969? Those came off a 69/70 Marquis or Monterey. It's a great video and I love the wagons...I have a 1991 Colony Park that I got from the original owner that still looks new even in the Arizona sun. Another product for the wood panel applique is Future Floor Finish or maybe it's called Pledge.....

your accelerator pump gasket is shot, its leaking fuel and it needs an exhaust donut. itll run the new r12 freon, put two cans of oil and the rest freon 4 cans and it should operate.

My parents got one of these when I was in Jr High School, and as a class project, took it to school, and repaired the rust work on it, it was like a light yellow/beige color, black interior, inside was great, but repaired the outside!

Grew up with this same car, same year. Used to sit on the rear door with the rear window down and hold on to the roof rack.
