Champs-Elysees avenue goes green

Falling food prices and increasing production costs have fueled one of the worst agricultural crises in decades.
For two days, beginning on Sunday, the famous Parisian avenue, the Champs-Elysees, has been transformed into a giant fantasy garden with 150,000 plants - including 650 fully grown trees.
Farm animals have been moved in to complete the surreal picture in the heart of the French capital, attracting lots of attention for the farming industry.
The organisers say they hope showcasing farm production - from sheep breeding to crop growing - will remind people that France is Europe's agricultural powerhouse, and subsequently win popular support ahead of key EU negotiations.
