Isn't it Hydrogen Gas that is produced, and not Chlorine Gas? I see Zinc Chloride in the equation, but isn't that a liquid?

Why did you just retrieve the penny with your bare fingers. No type of protection.

If you try inhaling the "hydrogen gas" you will first feel extreme pain for 2 seconds then die. I dont think just plain hydrogen gas will do that.
