Pete does his own fingerstyle arrangement of John Howard Payne's "Home, Sweet Home" on a Civil War-era Martin owned by his grandfather. Pete teaches guitar, mandolin, fiddle and banjo at Stacy's Music in Charlottesville. www.stacysmusic.com
Hi Pete, Could you share the chord to the song? My grandfather Spencer used to play that song in Piedmont style. Then Uncle Steve researched it and played it often. I didn't get a chance to fully learn it before both passed away. Just parts. Your version is the same rendition they did. I can see the basic A, D, E. During the bridge when you play on the 5th fret. Is that a D chord. And then the next 2 chords as you slide back to the A have me stumped. Great Song you do.
