Sprout Savvy visited Red Pearl Yoga, in Fort Lauderdale, to learn some breath techniques for meditation and stress reduction. Breathing through your nose to get centered. Calm down fight or flight response. Close your eyes and focus on the space between your eyebrows. Relax any tension in your jaw and take deep breaths in through your nose and exhale through the root of your spine. Continue to breathe and breathe out through your nose. Find a nice rhythm for your breath. A mantra can help you stay centered and focused.
