FOR THIS CLIP I HAD A FAKE BOYFRIEND, DAVE, WHICH WAS A LOT OF FUN, A GUY FROM THE ORANGE COUNTY IN LA NO LESS! I DIDN'T REALLY CHECK HIM OUT ON THE EMAIL THAT THE RECORD COMPANY SENT ME, JUST HIS TATS, WHICH WERE IMPRESSIVE TO SAY THE LEAST! WHEN I MET HIM I HAD THE HOTS FOR HIM A TINY BIT...SORRY NAT!
TO SHOOT THE CLIP IN, WE HIRED A HOUSE IN THE HOLLYWOOD HILLS, JUST BELOW THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN, WHICH HAD A POOL AND JUST THE NICEST OF EVERYTHING! THERE WERE SIGNS EVERYWHERE NOT TO TOUCH THE PIANO, NOT TO EAT INSIDE, NOT TO SWIM IN THE POOL, NOT TO SLEEP WITH THE MODELS ☺
I AM ROCKING OUT ON A BARITONE GUITAR IN THE CLIP , A DAN ELECTRO.
THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIDEO WAS WAS AN EDGY DUDE CALLED CHRIS SIMS WHO HAD DONE CLIPS FOR A LOT OF PUNK AND INDIE ACTS LIKE 'EIGHTEEN VISIONS', ZAO AND THE KINISON.
I was a little upset when the 'hair and makeup' person didnt do hair, but i am used to doing my own, thats right i am a big girl now, and so i just did my usual salt water trick.
It took a day to film and a few weeks later when i saw the final cut i cried, because i thought that being an American made film clip, that i would look like a million dollars, but i thought i looked as bad as in any of my Aussie clips!
I love the video clip now though, the song touched so many hearts and the clip is a part of that, was fantastically shot and edited, and the fake boyfriend was priceless.

I think the production quality was fine. D looked great, but if you're shooting in the States, I would consider Nashville or Minneapolis. FAR more bang for your production buck.

@octogarden72 ....no its because she is not good looking and cause the song simply doesn't appeal to a large audience like the catchy pop songs everyone can relate to. More so the latter.

This is the early 30's woman type of song....although i love it but i've always been into sappy break-up/love songs.
